Albert, The Holiday Helper, is a “virtual assistant” that Coca-Cola developed with Albertsons, a supermarket chain in Texas, USA, with the objective of helping shoppers as they plan, buy and host during the holiday season.
Albert is a chatbot designed on the Facebook Messenger platform, that communicates different content by establishing a conversation with the shopper after scanning in-store POS.
The program was designed for Thanksgiving and Christmas 2021, and based on learnings and results the goal is for Albert to be extended for future occasions.
